Miluše Juříčková Named NORLA’s Translator of the Month

The Norwegian literary agency NORLA (Norwegian Literature Abroad), which promotes Norwegian literature internationally, has named our colleague Associate Professor Miluše Juříčková its Translator of the Month for October.

Miluše Juříčková has devoted many years to Norwegian and Scandinavian literature, literary translation and teaching at Masaryk University. In recognition of her contribution to promoting Norwegian literature and culture, she was also awarded the Royal Norwegian Order of Merit.

In her interview with NORLA, she reflects on her encounters with Norwegian writers and shares which Norwegian books hold a special place in her heart.
